Aircraft parts marketplace on your handset

he innovative aviation spare parts search and deal making platform Locatory.com has introduced a new mobile phone application allowing an even faster access to its services. From now on the company’s clients will be able to connect to Locatory.com (m.locatory.com) directly from their smart phones and browse through an extensive database of aviation spare parts as well as manage, send, receive and answer RFQ’s.

‘The rapid technological development of smart phones, tablets and e-readers has encouraged us to adapt the aviation parts platform for iPhone, iOS, Android, Blackberry, Palm WebOS, Nokia/Symbian, Windows Phone 7, MeeGo, Opera Mobile/Mini, Firefox Mobile, Kindle and Nook users. Recent research suggests that by the end of 2013 in the USA alone more than 75% of all mobile handsets will be smart phones.’ – informed the CEO of Locatory.com Zilvinas Sadauskas.

According to Z.Sadauskas, the newly established application makes it possible to access the platform straight from an aircraft hangar or whilst being in a meeting with clients thus making it easier than ever to save time and speed up all the necessary maintenance processes. The app is designed with clarity, convenience and ease of user-friendly environment in mind.

In the process of developing the application Locatory.com experts paid extra attention to making it user friendly to people with disabilities. For instance, people with limited sight are provided a possibility to use VoiceOver and other additional aids.

Locatory.com is the first website where customers can search, buy and sell not only Western made components but also aircraft spare parts produced in Russia. The platform features specifically designed functions aimed at simplifying communication, decision making and business contact development. It allows for an easy statistical module integration thus providing a valuable tool for market, management effectiveness and sales efficiency analysis. The website also provides an unlimited access to such functions as placement and search, queries and personal profile settings.
